Virtually all rental velvet ropes that you will find at your local event rental company are black or red color. When you need a different color - we can help!

We do limited rentals of rare color ropes like white, pink, yellow, orange (see all our velvet ropes here). Events can be chaotic with lot’s of people involved, we want to make sure that we have a mutual understanding of how it works. The velvet ropes are rather fragile, we will deliver them in a “new or like new condition” with plastic protective wrapping.

• Minimum quantity for rent is 10 velvet ropes.
• Rental Velvet Ropes are standard - 6’ft long with Polished Chrome Snap Ends (for polished brass ends add $9 each).
• If it’s not a local Chicago order we will ship it via the UPS.
• Metal rope stanchions are often available to rent locally or we can give you a quote.

Pricing and Placing the Order

• Rental rare color velvet ropes are $37.50 per day (or event) including UPS ground shipping two ways (48 US states or we can ship on your UPS/Fedex account.
• If there is no rush, we will ship the ropes UPS ground so it arrives 1 business day before your date.
• If you need expedited shipping, we will quote you or we can ship on your UPS/Fedex account. We can ship the same day from Chicago.
• After the event, the ropes must be shipped back no later than within two business day. UPS return label will be provided, return shipped date is determined by the tracking number, it shows when it was picked up or dropped off at the UPS/Fedex location. Additional days are $10 per rope per day.
• Example: your one-day event is on Tuesday in Los Angeles - we will deliver the ropes no later than Monday, you will ship it back to us no later than Thursday.

The ropes will be sent to you in “like new condition” with plastic protective wrapping. At the time of the rental, your card will be charged for the rental cost but “authorized” for the full sale price of the ropes. When we receive the ropes back, the ropes will be inspected within 1 business days and “authorization” will be released. For any missing ropes, broken or stained ropes we will charge your card the difference of what you’ve paid already and the full sales price. If you request these ropes that you’ve paid for can be shipped back to you.
